This is what gets me.
Yes, the spying is terrible. But when George W. Bush instituted all these changes, the right wing was 100% behind it. Torture, detention without trial, bombing innocent people based on nothing but the suspicion that a terrorist may be among them…
It’s terrible now under Obama, and it was terrible then under Bush. But there’s quite a double-standard in how they are judged by many people.
